This weekend I went to a vintage fair in the City Hall where I live. Lou Lou's Vintage Fair is held in multiple cities up and down the country. It is home to up to 100 vintage traders, with clothes and accessories from the 1940's on-wards! There is also a Pop Up Parlour where you can have your hair styled, and the cutest little cupcakes that any 50's house wife would be proud of!
The clothes were so nice and so classic, but you would have to be very brave/dedicated to vintage to wear them! There was countless jacket, coats, dresses, jumper and Levi shorts.
I think the jewelry was my favourite, some pieces you could probably find on the high street/Etsy, but some looked genuinely vintage, like little pocket watches and broaches.
This was my favourite thing I found. It's a compact mirror with a really pretty pink and gold design. It was rather heavy and felt expensive. Sadly, I didn't buy it because I couldn't afford it (sad face) but I had to write about it.
It was a great experience at the fair, the only shame was it was quite packed in there so it was difficult to look around and take photos. Some items of clothing also looked like they had been ordered off the internet and were being marked as vintage just to make money off them; such as a jumper that said "Geek" on it, with a label inside that I know is an internet site.
This mirror is a pure wonder, woaw.
