Essie - "For the twill of it"

A few weeks ago, I first laid my eyes on Essie's Autumn/Fall 2013 collection on Essie's Instagram. I thought all the colours were stunning, but one particularly caught my eyes; "For The Twill Of It". This colour immediately went to the top of my want/need list. I waited for the collection to come into Boots, and it finally did! I was lucky, it was the only one left so I nabbed it before anyone else could spot it. 

The colour itself is described as "rich medium brown with reflective green shimmer", however I think it's a more blue/purple than brown. It's such a stunning, metallic colour; the reflective green in it makes it extra special. It somewhat changes shade in the light, showing different shades of green, blue, silver, brown and pink (I've found).

It's similar to OPI's "Peace & Love & OPI", and there are others from more brands that are similar in that they are metallic with shimmers and shades of other colours. Such as; Aurora by Topshop, Indian Ocean by Models Own, and "30" by Miss Sporty.
