"Your life in books" - Tag

Today I'm going to do a 'tag' which I have seen on the interweb in a number of places. The title of the tag, if you hadn't guessed, is "Your life in books".

Question 1 - Find a book for each of your initials.

'F' - "The Fault in our Stars" by John Green. I love this book, its funny, emotional, and a book you cannot put down because YOU MUST KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.
'H' - "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" by J. K. Rowling - I don't need to describe this book to you, it's Harry Potter.
'W' - "The Wide Window" (part of A Series of Unfortunate Events) by Lemony Snicket. I loved this series when I was younger, I still do, really, it is amazing and intriguing!

Question 2 - Count your age along your bookshelf, which book is it?

19. "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" by J.K. Rowling. This is my favourite of the HP series, I remember when reading it thinking it was my favourite and it still is whenever I re-read it. I think it's when the story starts to get darker and more characters are developed and introduced. I just love it, there's something about it.

Question 3 - Pick a book set in your city/state/country.

I actually cannot think of any books set in my city... or country for that matter, so I'll go with Great Britain. "1984" by George Orwell. I really like this book, it makes you think and you can find little way to relate to it even though it was written more than 50 years ago. It took a few chapters to get into it, but my old English teacher once said "never decide you don't like a book before reading at least four chapters".

Question 4 - Pick a book that represents a place you would like to travel to.

"A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith. I have no yet read this book but it is on my list of books I want/need to read. Brooklyn is somewhere I have wanted to visit for a long time. Although I have never been to New York, it is top of my life of places I want to visit.

Question 5 - Pick a book that is your favourite colour.

I don't have any books that are necessarily my favourite colour, but I do like the cover of "My Life Next Door" by Huntley Fitzpatrick because it's a very pretty white and blue horizontal striped fiasco.

Question 6 - Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

I've already mentioned how "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" was my favourite book when reading it and my favourite of the series, so I won't pick that one again although it would be that one. Rather, I shall choose... "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. Everyone loves The Hunger Games and I remember when I first read it thinking how original I thought it was and how the characters were so interesting and I didn't put it down until it was finished. I then read "Catching Fire" and awaited Mocking Jay. Then we got the film, yay!

Question 7 - Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

"New Moon" of the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer. I'll admit it, I never finished it. I was given it as a present by my auntie one Christmas and I could not get into it. I didn't like the way it was written and it was a bit monotone to me. Sorry!

Question 8 - Which book on your TBR pile will give you the most sense of accomplishment when you finish it?

Ahh I don't know at first thought! ... I'm going to say "The Green Mile" by Stephen King. I've chosen this one because I think it's a more serious book and just one I really want to read. I've not seen the film, either, and won't until I've read it!

Ok that's it! Do this tag too and leave me your answers!
