As daft as it might sound, I love memories. I love keeping little bits and bobs from something I've done or somewhere I've been; like a train ticket or a postcard. I have plenty of them stuck to my wall, but I've sometimes thought that it would be nice to write things down, the little things I want to remember that I will probably have forgotten a week later.
I love making lists and writing things down, and every time I go into Waterstones I have lusted after this book called "One Line A Day". It's almost like a diary, and on every page there is a small section to write about your day. It has a page for every day of the year, but what makes it special is that on every page there is enough sections to write each day, but for five years! Such a good idea, being able to look back on what you did a year ago and see how you have (or haven't) changed!
There's a little space to write in what year it is too, extra cute points.
I was very lucky to receive the book for Christmas, and because the book starts on January 1st, I decided I will too! Rather than starting at the back and missing out a whole year!
The pages of the book are the most amazing gold colour, making it oh so pretty and stunning.
I'm really looking forward to filling it all in and I am determined to finish it!
Such a great idea and it looks gorgeous - love the gold x
